酒店市场营销不断更新酒店新产品的类型
1.全新产品
这种产品在市场上从未出现过,是为了满足人们新的消费需求,开拓全新的市场而生产的。在现代酒店市场营销业中,全新的产品往往运用了高科技手段,开发的角度可以是一些新的功能性的设施、设备的运用,比如完全依靠环保能元运转的酒店,或者是新的产品组合,如何价住宿产品的出现,还有新的管理模式的运用等。这类产品研发费用高,投入了大量的人力物力,能否被市场所接受却是个未知数,所以开发全新产品是具有一定风险性的。这类产品占所有新产品的10%。
2.新产品线
这种产品是指在其他酒店已经运用而在本酒店尚未开发运用的产品。当其他酒店的产品在市场上取得较好的经济效益,本酒店就可以根据现有条件,将产品线适当调整,仿制其他酒店的产品,利用其他酒店为产品做的宣传,扩大自己的市场销售。这类产品占整个新产品比重的20%左右。
3.现行产品的增补品
在现有的产品线上增加的品种。如锦江酒店集团,创业时期经营餐饮业为主,后来逐渐增加了住宿业、旅游业和娱乐业。原来锦江集团的住宿业以经营高级酒店为主,后来为适应市场的需求,增加了锦江之星这个经济型酒店品牌,达到了扩大客源,占领更多市场的效果。这类产品占整个新产品比重26%。
4.现行产品的改进更新
